Being members of The Financial Services Association (FSA), a UK Government body, permits us, via the ‘Open Cover’ we hold with ACIS, the Lloyds Agent, to offer ‘All Risk’ insurance on any shipments we handle, whether it be by Air or Sea. Claims can be made payable in either UK or Lanzarote entirely at the wishes of our principal.

Insurance Premiums payable are usually 0.7875% of the CIF value uplifted by 10%

If the goods are considered to be of a fragile nature, i.e. Glass China and the like, or if there is a large percentage of the goods which are fragile, the rate would be increased by 1.5%. In the case of household / personal effects the rate would only be confirmed on sight of an inventory with the items being individually valued. This rate is normally 3.5375%

Premiums are calculated by adding the Freight and the FOB charges to the value of the goods then adding 10%. The sum total being the value for insurance purposes.

Minimum Premium of £27.50 per Certificate.
